On Friday, November 28th, JP Morgan Chase stated in a report that it expects copper prices to rise to $12,000 per tonne in the first quarter of 2026, with an average price of $12,075 per tonne for the full year of 2026. The report also projects an average aluminum price of $2,675 per tonne for 2026. The report further stated that "gold prices are expected to rise to $5,000 per ounce, supported by continued strong demand, official reserve accumulation, and investor diversification." The report also predicts that silver prices will rise in tandem with gold, potentially reaching $85 per ounce.
